Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

This policy explains what Chatterly Calls collects, why, and what happens to your call audio. The short version: we don't store your calls. Audio and captions exist only for the duration of the call.

What we collect

Who processes your data during a call

To make a call work, data passes in real time through service providers acting on our behalf:

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, and we do not use your calls to train AI models.

Recording & consent

The Service does not record calls. Live transcription may be considered interception in some jurisdictions; the automatic greeting at the start of each call discloses that an assistant is in use. You are responsible for complying with the call-consent laws that apply where you and the other party are located.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and its data entirely by contacting us. If you are in the EU/UK, you have the rights provided by the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection); our legal basis for processing is performance of our contract with you.

Security

Connections are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/WSS). Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes. Account data lives in a database on our hosting provider's encrypted disks.

Changes

We'll announce material changes to this policy by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect.
